Sorry, didn't realise that I hadn't blogged since February :-)
Its now a busy time on the allotment. We have planted our potatoes and onions. At the weekend we got our carrots, beetroot, spinach, strawberries, turnip and swede planted.
We have cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli started in seed trays. So its all go.
Now we are planning which flowers to plant. Last year marigolds and sweet peas were really successful so they will go in again but I think we will try sunflowers along the fence at the path (see if we can compete with Joyce's beautiful display of pink flowers on the main path last year) and maybe some lavaterra and nasturtiums for the back fence.
Our new site is progressing (see photos on our website) and is still on schedule to open in Spring - guess that stretches to May but let's hope its soon.

January
Things to do in January:
Make a plan of your plot and chart what and where you will plant this year.
Make a shopping list for seeds.
Order your potatoes and save your egg boxes so that you can store them until they sprout.
Make sure tools are cleaned and sharpened.
I'll be back in February :-)
